Cape Town – Police have appealed to the public to come forward with any information that will lead to the arrest of suspects involved in killing two people in separate incidents.
A motorist was shot dead on the N2 on Saturday and a female driver was shot and killed in Nyanga on Thursday.
Police spokesperson Andre Traut said: “On Saturday, at about 10.30pm, a man was shot and killed in his Toyota Fortuner on the N2 in Khayelitsha.”
The female driver killed in Nyanga was shot just metres away from a police station.
“On Thursday, at about 10.30pm, a 31-year-old woman was shot in Ntlangano Crescent, Nyanga. The victim was inside her Toyota Aygo at the time of the attack,” the police spokesperson said.
