Durban — Forty eThekwini Municipality areas will experience a four-day shutdown this week.

The municipality said western areas would be affected by water supply restrictions.

“Residents and businesses are informed of a planned water shutdown by Sanral (South African National Roads Agency SOC Ltd) to relocate pipeline 53 to complete the construction of the N3 highway in the vicinity of Lynfield Park,” the municipality said.

“During the four-day shutdown, there will be a reduced inflow to the western areas of eThekwini Municipality.

“The shutdown will start from midnight on November 8 to 11, 2022,” the municipality said.

The following areas will be affected by water restrictions:

  7. Mpumalanga
  8. Mlaba Village
  9. Drummond
  10. Cliffdale

  13. Isithumba
  14. Hillcrest
  15. KwaNyuswa
  16. Bothas Hill
  17. Kloof
  18. New Germany
  19. KwaDabeka
  20. Westmead
  21. Tshelimnyama
  22. KwaNdengezi
  23. Dassenhoek
  24. Coffee Farm
  25. KwaNdengezi Pitoli
  26. Ntuzuma
  27. Mzinyathi
  28. Crestholme
  29. Waterfall
