Cape Town - With election tension freshly out of the way and the ongoing stress related to the Covid-19 pandemic still persistent, a one-night-only comedy show hopes to lighten the mood.

Event Organiser and Aspire promotions director Abdul baasit Colbie said the show will then move to the Fountains Hotel in the City Centre on December 3.

“You could enjoy the show with a one-night stay for two or more at the Premier Hotel. Enjoy a delicious 3-course dinner buffet and breakfast before checkout at 10am the next morning,” said Colbie.

“The show aims to bring you a good night of laughter with top comedians in the country entertaining you along with a relaxed experience for you and your partner,” said Colbie.

The comedy show is made possible by Aspire Promotions and Ismail Moses Entertainment and hosted by Ismail Moses.

“This pandemic has certainly been taxing on so many different levels and we need relief. ’Covid Relief Fun’ is to take away all of your stress. No need to cook or clean for the day, just loads of laughter and fun.

“A lovely getaway. Buffet dinner, a great stand-up comedy show, luxurious sleepover and wholesome breakfast. I got a few of my friends, Carl Weber, Mel Jones, Marc Lottering and Yaaseen Barnes, to make the night super fun,” said Moses.
