The first season was released in 2017 on

and Youtube in tandem with a coordinated social media campaign. The series immediately became a phenomenon attracting widespread media attention and the subject of public debate.

The first episode which asked the question, ‘What is a Coloured‛ garnered over 170 000 views. The platform has become a unique interactive storytelling space for this marginalized community. It has facilitated an active online community who consistently engage with the visual content and contribute to the dialogue.

Our audience consistently share stories and opinions and distribute information specifically around the intersections of class, race and gender and the occupation of multiple marginalised identities.

Season two shifts from the individual coloured identity to a community and collective based unpacking of identities. This season we address the running of the city of Cape Town, racism, gender, violence- institutional and generational, colourism, and mental health.

These questions are answered by featured faces such as Marc Lottering, Patty Munroe, Shanice Appels, Jimmy Nevis, Adam Haupt, Lester Kiewit, Quanita Adams and several other names disrupting and discussing the different dynamics in the fields they navigate.

The teaser to season two will be released on the 31 May 2018.
