Bush Bucks are First Division Coastal league soccer champions and return to the Premier Soccer League next season.

At the same time Bloemfontein Celtic have won the Inland Stream and are also promoted.

The point Bucks earned from their 0-0 draw with Vasco da Gama at East London on Sunday was enough to give them the title. Bucks were relegated from the Premier Division last season.

Bucks are on 52 points from 24 games (two more to play), while second placed Avendale Athletico are on 44 points. Even if Bucks lose their remaining two games and Avendale win theirs, Clive Philander's side can only reach 50 points.

On Sunday, Vasco play Uthukela at Parow Park and play their last game against African Wanderers, the following week.

Not only did FC Fortune lose their game 2-1 to Uthukela at Princess Magogo stadium in Durban, the players also lost off the field. Colin Gie, club boss and manager, said when they returned to the dressing room after the game, they discovered they'd been burgled.

FC are up against African Wanderers at the Wynberg Military camp on Sunday at 3pm, and play Basotho Tigers in their last game the following Sunday.

Avendale were held to a 1-1 draw by Basotho Tigers in Vryburg on Sunday. Darryl Smith gave Avendale the lead in the first half, but Tigers equalised in the last few minutes.

Avendale are home to Maritzburg City at Wynberg on Sunday. Their last game is away to Durban Stars, the following Sunday.

Premier United (Hellenic) went down 2-1 to Park United at Bellville sports ground, after leading 1-0 at the interval through a goal by Vuyo Mere.
