Democratic Republic of Congo international defender Liswa Nduti could not have timed his return to Manning Rangers any better.

While the 5-2 defeat against Santos last weekend accelerates coach Clive Barker's search for a left-back, Nduti's arrival offers temporary relief for an unsettled defence.

The defender's man-marking abilities will prove invaluable when Cosmos visit Chatsworth Stadium on Tuesday night for a league match. Nduti, one of Rangers consistent performers during last term's miserable campaign, will not only add stability to the backline but will allow captain Sipho Ndzuzo to resume the midfield anchor role.

Neighbours Lamontville Golden Arrows' defence is still without Malawian international Peter Mponda ahead of Wednesday afternoon's home match against Ajax. Mponda has to sort out the paperwork to conclude his transfer before he can join Arrows.
