On Tuesday it was Brian Mujati. On Wednesday it was Schalk Brits.

At this rate the hapless Stormers will be without a squad by the time their season ends against the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein on Saturday.

Stormers' head honcho Rassie Erasmus announced omn Wednesday that hooker Schalk Brits would be joining English Premiership club Saracens and that Saturday's clash would be his swansong for the Cape franchise.

Saracens' Director of Rugby Brendan Venter, who is also on Erasmus' coaching staff at the Stormers, has been raiding South Africa's player resources with a view to strengthening his Premiership squad for 2010.

Prior to signing Brits, Venter signed another SA-based hooker, Ethienne Reynecke, of the Lions.

Twenty-seven-year-old Brits made his Springbok debut against Italy in 2008 and on occasions he has been used as a loose forward by Western Province and the Stormers.

"Schalk is a world class player who has the X-factor that can turn a game in an instant," said Venter.
